Yarisley Silva Wins First Medal for Cuba at IAAF World Championship

Local Yarisley Silva won the bronze medal at the Athletics World Championship underway in London, Great Britain.

The best pole vaulter of Cuban history jumped 4.65m in an event totally dominated by Greek Ekaterine Stefanidi, (4.91), followed by American Sandi Morris (4.75).
