Music Promotion Center Reopens

After one year and four months closed to the public, the music promotion center La Sitiera opened with a program for all preferences.

With three different spaces, La Sitiera will promote local talents and will offer evening concerts and gatherings in the patio; the bar inside will have drinks and cocktails during the day and in the second floor the pergola will be dedicated to regular spaces for artists, gatherings and poetry reading.

According to Ricardo Alfonso Conill, manager of the place, this reopening is included in the repair works for the 150th anniversary of the city.

They will be opened from Wednesdays to Mondays, and on Saturdays the space will be available for children with a special program run by local theatre and musical companies.

The reopening event was attended by Julio César Rodríguez Pimentel, member of the Central Committee and of the Bureau of the Provincial Committee of the Party; Leonor Lina Plasencia Hernández, vice-president of the Provincial Asembly of People’s Power and Catalina Rodríguez Nosti, director of Culture in the territory.
