Film 'La La Land' Awarded Seven Golden Globes Prizes

The film ''La La Land'' (USA) was awarded the unprecedented amount of seven Golden Globes Prizes, granted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

During the 74th award ceremony, the film was given all the prizes to which it was nominated: seven in total, a higher toll than the six won by the film 'Someone flew on the cuckoo´s nest' (1975).

La La Land´s director Damien Chazelle won the Best Director and Best Screenplay award, while Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone won the awards for best comedy or musical actors for men and women, respectively.

'La La Land' was also awarded the prizes for Best Comedy or Musical, Best Original Song for 'City of Stars' and Best Original Soundtrack, given to Justin Hurwitz.

On the other hand, the Best Actor in a Drama award was granted to Casey Affleck for his role in 'Manchester in front of the sea', and the best Drama Actress Award to Isabelle Huppert for her role in 'Elle'.

'Elle' also won the award for Best Foreign Film, amid nominated films 'Divines' (France), 'The Traveler' (co-production between France and Iran), 'Toni Erdmann' (Germany) and 'Neruda', by Pablo Larrain (Chile).
